Maxing out their personal credit cards, Dan Endicott and his partner John Hooper, dared to dream. In 1996, they rented a 900 square foot retail space and filled it with as much car audio equipment as they could afford. And even though only three of their 20 head unit slots were filled and they had merely six speakers to choose from, Endicott and Hooper both realized that they were onto something bigger. And so, Good Vibrations of Roseburg Oregon was born.

”I worked for a couple of different stores and then my partner came along and lured me away with the idea of starting our own business,” remembers Endicott. “So, we basically did what we weren’t supposed to do. We started out with $5000 a piece on credit cards, and it grew from there.”

They soon moved to a new location inside of a shopping mall. While customer volume increased at the new shop, they still weren’t satisfied. The confines of the mall proved restrictive, so Endicott and Hooper moved their growing customer base. Moving to a 3000 square foot car and home audio haven allowed for a big jump in the custom home integration business.

On their fourth and final move Endicott and Hooper were able to purchase their dream location. Plenty of room for home and car electronics, plus a huge installation facility to manage all fabrication and support on all their customer’s needs
